Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop toys feature big eyes, unique colors, and a wide variety of different pets. Each Littlest Pet Shop toy is crafted with its own unique look and personality. Hasbro produces hundreds of different pets and many series of LPS toys have been released.

The original Hasbro Littlest Pet Shop Toys were created by Kenner in the 90s. In 1995 Sunbow Productions created an animated televisions series based on the toys. The toys were redone in 2005 to have bigger eyes and more designs. Littlest Pet Shop video games have also been produced for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, and Wii. Another animated television series was created by Hasbro from 2012 until 2016.

LPS toys were designed for children over the age of 4 years. This is because some pets and their accessories are small enough to pose a choking hazard to children in younger age groups. For safety reasons, keep LPS pets and all packaging away from children who do not meet the manufacturer recommended age requirement.

Hasbro has different pet series such as the Country, Beach, Wild, Aquatic, Cabin, House, Bugs, Small Furry Pets, and City collections. There are over 3,000 different pets in the full line. LPS pets range from the common dog and cat to the rare and mysterious narwhal and unicorn. Other options include birds, bunnies, fish, whales, frogs, cats, horses, turtles, kangaroos, bears, alligators, koala bears, octopus, owls, and monkeys.

Hasbro's Littlest Pet Shop toys come in two special product lines:

• Black and White: This LPS special line features many different pets in stylish black and white designs with colors like purple and aqua blue. Figures in this line include rabbits, dogs, cats, birds, and bears.
• Rainbow: This Littlest Pet Shop line comes in bright colors like yellow, purple, and green. These animals also feature glitter on top of them. In this special line, you will find fish, koala bears, cows, monkeys, and birds.

Yes, in addition to each Littlest Pet Shop individual character, Hasbro offers several different themed sets including LPS Cruise Ship, Pawrista Coffee Shop, Showtime Surfside Concert, Pet Shop Playset, City Skate Park, Ultimate Apartments, Chill Out Inn, Splash Park, Sweet Drop Shop, and many others. Some sets come packaged with simply two or three and can include as many as 20 cute pets.
