Interwoven leather and mesh materials on the upper are one of the main characteristics of the Jordan Illusion Lows. In place of eyestays, the laces are held in place by mesh loops that weave through the dark leather upper of this shoe. The grid-like pattern printed on the leather adds to the effect. Embossed Jumpman logos feature both on the tongue and the back heel panel of the upper. Stippling on the front of the outsole adds additional grip to the shoe that helps it perform well on many surfaces. The same mesh material sits under the laces on the throat of the kicks.
