adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V1 MNVN Black

Yeezy Boost 700 Sneakers

The adidas Yeezy Boost V1 MNVN Triple Black was released in early February 2020. The sneakers first debuted in 2018 when they were gifted to rapper Tekashi 69 and have sporadically appeared on social media since. The Yeezy 700 triple black was designed by industry icons Steven Smith and Christain Tresset. This is the fourth version of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700.

Designing the adidas Yeezy 700 MNVN black

The overall aesthetic for this retro-inspired runner is a stealth triple-black. The upper features an oversized Motorcross-style "700" branding across the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker. The upper of this sneaker is constructed of a triple black nylon and 3M reflective detailing. These adidas sneakers have Yeezy branding embedded into the footbed.

Materials on the Yeezy 700 MNVN black sneaker

The upper of the Yeezy triple black is constructed of a one-piece nylon panel. The nylon-padded upper is fitted with heat-welded overlays. The black, rubber outsole of the sneaker is fitted with a Boost cushion. The footwear is also fitted with black tactical rope laces.

Features of the 2020 adidas Yeezy boost 700 MNVN

The Boost drop-in tooling used in this sneaker is the same that was used on the Yeezy Boost V1 and V2. The midsole of the Yeezy MNVN is fitted with the same ovular cutouts featured on the original V1 700 Yeezy sneakers. This is the first Yeezy to be fitted with a small pull tab. The rubber outsole on the Yeezy Triple Black is designed to provide better grip.
